Establishing an association to promote and organize an annual charity comedy festival was the idea that germinated in the mind of the festival’s director, Samuel Guidon, 8 years ago.
Humor, kindness and sacrifice.
The “Le Sens de l’humor” Festival brings nationally and even internationally renowned comedians to Sens every year.
To meet this challenge, approximately thirty volunteers donate their time to help deliver the event.
The 2022 edition hosted more than 2,000 spectators and 29,000 Euros were donated to two associations supported by the festival.
This year, as every year, the festival honors two associations and presents them with a check from the proceeds from the shows.
Associations supported this year
- Laurette FugainAssociation that fights against leukemia by financially supporting pediatric and adult medical research on the disease, mobilizing life donations (blood, platelets, bone marrow) and helping patients and their loved ones.
- Gaby’s wingsThe association was founded to increase the comfort of hospitalized children and their families, as well as to raise funds for research.
